THE DRAFT · WHAT WE COULD BUILD TOGETHER

From “what if”
to “that’s a wrap.”

A room full of people. An idea ready to take shape. Footage waiting to become a story.

Rio Rancho Productions is an idea I’m putting out into the world: bring planning, filming, live broadcast, and editing together with a good team. This website is a draft of that vision. If you work with cameras, sound, live streams, editing—or have a skill or idea that belongs here—I’d love to meet you.

01 LIVE EVENT PRODUCTION

The room.
Without the walls.

Make the people watching from somewhere else feel part of what’s happening here.

The aim: plan cameras, sound, and live presentation around an event, then bring it to the audience’s chosen streaming platform. Performances, talks, ceremonies, community gatherings—every event has its own rhythm.

  • Camera coverage & live switching
  • Sound, graphics & stream planning
  • A recording to keep after the broadcast
Talk about your live event

02 FILMING & EVENT COVERAGE

Be there.
Then be there again.

The big moment, the small reaction, the detail you almost missed.

Thoughtful coverage makes an event worth revisiting. The idea is to work out what matters before the cameras roll, whether the result is a complete program, a short highlight film, or an interview that lets someone tell their story.

  • Performances, events & ceremonies
  • Interviews & stories about your work
  • Coverage planned for the finished film

03 EDITING & POST-PRODUCTION

You have footage.
Let’s find the film.

A clear story. A good pace. The right finish.

Editing belongs in this vision too: shape a story from new or existing footage, refine the sound and color, and prepare versions that fit where the video is going. Editors and post-production collaborators, I’d love to hear from you.

  • Full programs & highlight films
  • Sound, color, titles & captions
  • Short clips & social-ready versions
Let’s talk about the edit

04 THE WHOLE PRODUCTION

An idea in your head.
A production in our hands.

This is the bigger ambition: a team that can connect the pieces, define a project, coordinate the people and equipment, and carry the work through final delivery. The team is still taking shape. These are the possibilities I’d like to build toward together.

01 / BEFORE

Make a plan.

Talk through your audience, location, timing, and budget. Agree on the coverage and the finished deliverables.

02 / DURING

Make it happen.

Bring the production together. Film the story, cover the event, or share it live with the people who matter.

03 / AFTER

Make it yours.

Review the edit and receive the agreed videos, ready to watch, share, and keep.

Start with your idea

NEW HERE. BIG IDEAS.

A little desert.
A lot of perspective.

I’m Jon Claude Haines—JC. Rio Rancho is home, and these are my photographs: a double rainbow over the Sandias, the moon through the branches, and another moonlit sky.

That’s the spirit behind this draft: pay attention, notice what’s worth capturing, and find the people who want to make something of it together.

A SMALL NOTE FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER

I just got here four days ago. So far, the moon has been my most reliable model. No complaints, no wardrobe changes.

I’ll be adding more photos tomorrow. Give me a minute to unpack.
